Marinated Chicken Drumsticks with Spices and Honey
Ingredients
• 8 chicken drumsticks
• 1 clove garlic, chopped
• 2 tbsp sweet paprika
• 1 tsp smoked paprika
• 1 tsp turmeric
• 1 tbsp honey
• 3 tbsp olive oil
• Juice of ½ lemon
• Salt and pepper
1. Prepare a generous marinade
In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, spices, garlic, honey, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
This marinade will create beautiful caramelization on the plancha thanks to the honey.
Cooking
2. Let the flavors infuse
Place the drumsticks in the marinade and mix well.
Let rest for at least 30 minutes, ideally 2 hours for a deeper flavor.
3. Perfect plancha cooking
Preheat your plancha to medium-high heat.
Place the drumsticks on it and brown them on all sides.
Lower the heat slightly, cover with a lid or cooking dome.
Cook for 35 to 40 minutes, turning regularly to prevent the honey from burning.
